[Problema]xorg.conf

Olá marujos :D, recentemente instalei o backtrack 4 R2, porem ele está me quebrando a cabeça m_m, alguem poderia me indicar um xorg que preste? rs.

Configuração do meu PC

Intel pentium(R) dual-core E5500 2.8Ghz
Ram GB
HD 320GB
Zotac GeForce GT 440 1 GB



PS: quando eu estava com o ubuntu não tive esse problema, alguém tem a solução? Obrigado.

Sim, eu estava com pressa, o problema é o seguinte, eu tenho um monitor LCD com resolução de 1360X768, só estão disponiveis as resoluções de 800x600 e 640x480, no meu xorg está escrito isso

ele está todo desconfigurado, meu BT4R2 usa KDE, mas ele não detecta meu monitor. Ja instalei a nvidia-settings "apt-get install nvidia-settings", não resolveu, baixei o driver da nvidia, instalei, depois disso, eu conseguia colocar a minha resolução, mas, o que mudava era o tamanho da tela, não a resolução, digo, meu monitor continuava em 800x600 mas a resolução ficava em 1360x768, parecia que estava dando zoom '-';
Alguma solução? rs

Ae, descobri o problema, porem ainda sem solução, eu descobri que a resolução fica sempre em 640x480, o que eu posso mudar é o tal do "panning" ainda não intendi muito bem ele, mas não consigo mudar a resolução, só consigo mudar o bendito "panning"
